OCT

Corneal topography

Maps the cornea (keratoconus, refractive surgery, contact lenses).

Biometry

Measures the eye to calculate the cataract implant.

Visual field

Assesses peripheral vision (glaucoma monitoring).

Retinal photography

Photographs the fundus for screening and follow-up.

Ocular ultrasound

Examines the eye when the fundus is not visible.

These examinations are fast, contactless and painless. Performed at the practice, they often allow a diagnosis and explanations the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Are these examinations painful?

No. Most are done without contact, in a few minutes. Some simply require dilating the pupil with drops.

Is any preparation needed?

Generally no. If the pupil needs to be dilated, plan not to drive for the next few hours (temporary blurred vision).
